The Story of Jake Bush

Nashville Recording Artist - Jake Bush makes traditional, rug cutting Country music created specifically for the honky-tonk regular. Since taking hold of the public's attention with his Chart topping Single “Gravity & You” in 2020, Bush has proven himself to be an authentic country music craftsman whose crowd-pleasing melodies can encompass the exact moment where 90’s country music collided with modern country music. Bush’s selling point to his sound is bold and tastefully simple. “Where 90’s Meets Now”.

Born in Pasadena, Texas in ‘94, Jake was the youngest of 5 children. Losing his mother at an early age, Bush had to grasp onto something and music seemed to be the only thing he could hold on to and find peace, residency and hope. Jake grew up amidst the sounds of GMC/CMT music videos of his idols such as; Keith Whitley, Daryle Singletary, Craig Morgan, George Jones, Mark Wills, Tim McGraw, and countless other 90’s era pioneers. Following high school, Bush joined the United States Army Reserves and served at Ellington Field in Webster, Tx.

Jake released his first 7 song Album named simply enough “7” October ‘20, the year of the Coronavirus Pandemic. His first release from this record was “Gravity And You”. After a rocket fueled 21 week run on the Texas Regional Radio Report, Bush earned his very first #1 in Texas. His second release off of “7” is “Better By The Beer”, and after 20 powerful weeks, Bush earned his 2nd Consecutive #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report. On February 11th 2022, Jake received his 3rd #1 for “If You Ever Get Lonely” after a 32 week run on the Texas Radio Charts. Jake made a powerful impact on the Texas Music Scene with 3 back to back #1 hits off of one record created during the most difficult time for musicians.

February of 2022, Bush released his newest album “Where 90’s Meets Now”. Filled with the sounds of 90’s era heartbreak songs about leaving and beautiful cowgirl melodies, this album has grabbed the attention of listeners all over the United States and beyond. Jake released “Tractor Town” as his first single and it forced listeners all over Texas to hit the dance floors and spin this song all the way to #1 after 22 weeks to make this Bush’s 4th Consecutive #1 song. Off of that same record, Bush released "Cowgirl" to Texas Radio and after 22 weeks, it went on to become his 5th Consecutive #1 Hit!

Bush shows no signs of backing down, slowing down, or even entertaining the thought of releasing anything slightly off the path of COUNTRY music.

Jake is currently writing & recording for a debut record with a renowned Producer named Phil O'Donnell AKA Philbilly.
